My family has one television. I think this is plenty, but my daughter Noah, when helping me out with the Idea of the Day, said she thinks it would be cool if somehow the tv could project multiple images simultaneously. That way everyone could watch what they wanted and no one would have to (gasp!), you know, agree.
I’m not sure that’s anywhere in the near future, but I started thinking about the concept a bit differently. Have you ever been in (or seen) a car full of parents and kids where several of them are wearing headphones and listening to music? Everyone wants to listen to their own thing. Which means we all need to have our own music players.
What if radios could transmit on multiple frequencies simultaneously? With headphones that could be independently tuned to any frequency, you could use just one radio and satisfy everyone. Less arguments about who gets to control the stereo? Imagine the quiet…
