It’s about time for a new pair of shades. Too bad, because I really like mine. I got them in Kauai so I’m kind of sentimental about them. Alas, they are pretty scratched up now so it’s time for a replacement.
But how can I keep this from happening again? The problem perhaps, is that I refuse to carry a ‘murse’ (man-purse). So I have nowhere to put my sunglasses to keep them safe when I’m not wearing them. Even if I had a case that wouldn’t help, since it would be one more thing to carry around.
Aha! I know the answer. Transformer sunglasses! You remember the robot toys of course (and the movie, starring Shia LaBeouf and Meghan Fox). I’m not suggesting that my shades should morph into killer robots (though that might be cool), but what if I could rearrange the components so the lenses would be encapsulated? That would make it safe to put them in my pocket when I’m not using them.
Mini-missiles would cost extra, of course.
