Oh-oh, it’s coming. Fall is in the air. I’ve already pulled out my sweatshirts and the down comforter. Even the leaves are starting to change. Soon we’ll be in the midst of another long, cold New England winter.
That means shoveling, fighting with ice and trying to get the typical sticky slush off of the shovel each time I take another scoop from the driveway. Sigh.
But wait! What if I create a heated shovel? Wouldn’t that melt through the driveway better, leave a cleaner surface and rid the shovel of that left over sticky mess that never seems to clear off completely when I am throwing the snow out of the way? Time to put the inventor hat back on. Finally, something about winter to look forward to.
