Idea of the Day: Patent software for Mac

laptop copyrightI am in the process of learning how to file patents, and plan on beginning with some Provisional Patent Applications (PPA). Fortunately there is some great software out there to automate the process and make it pretty simple for me. Patent Wizard is a good example of this.

Unfortunately, this software doesn’t  run on a mac.

I looked around online for 10 minutes searching google, images, products, etc. and found absolutely no Mac-based software to assist my PPA preparation. There might be some out there (in dire need of search engine enhancement), but I’d bet against finding any gems.

So listen up programmer friends: U.S. Patent applications continue to grow at a steady rate. So does Mac’s market share. That’s 2+2 in my book, and the answer still equals four (in this case represented by the need for Mac based Patent Assistant tools).
