This is a Poland Spring 8oz bottle of water (the kind you get on planes for free). It is the smallest product that Poland Springs offers.
Here is a CapriSun 6oz pouch. 27 varieties (flavors) of CapriSun are available in this one-size-fits-all package.
What’s the difference? The packaging style, yes. But more importantly, it’s the packaging size. The water bottle is over 30% larger. In real terms, I can put down a CapriSun in two sips, compared to the several gulps I get from the water bottle. But this isn’t about me…it’s about my kids who take two of the CapriSun pouches with them each day because one isn’t enough.
See where I’m going with this? Today’s idea is for CapriSun to offer a Big Pouch product. I find it funny that their tagline is “Respect the pouch” when it’s actually a puny little thing. Want some respect CapriSun? Earn it…make a more substantial product.
