How I work with very-early stage entrepreneurs

If you are a very-early stage entrepreneur trying to gain momentum then we should talk.

I am a seasoned entrepreneur and trusted adviser to very-early stage business owners. Here’s how I’ll work with you:

  • Step 1: Contact me for an introductory call. Within 30 minutes we’ll clearly define your vision, the context and opportunity and the sticking points. Cost: free!
  • Step 2: We’ll meet for 1-1/2 to 2 hours to nail down the steps you need to take to move forward. Cost: $150
  • Step 3: If you want to move forward we will set up a short-term arrangement (typically three months) defined by:

•    The objectives you intend to accomplish
•    Specific details about how you are going to approach each objective
•    The intended results by which we will measure your forward progress.

During this phase I will be helping to ‘reality-check’ your steps, connect you to my extensive network of mentors and vendors (as needed), and keep you on-task. Cost: sliding scale (may include equity stake in lieu of or in addition to front-end payments).

  • The initial conversation is free. It won’t cost you anything to find out if we’re a good fit for each other.
  • My monthly rate is on a sliding scale. Depending on the time commitment you need, I can consider alternative equity arrangements too. The point is that we want to create accountability on both sides, get you going and benefit from the progress we make together.

Restrictions:

We’ll work together in person if you are local to Boston, otherwise we can collaborate over the phone.

Please note that I am typically work on projects that have a real opportunity to scale to national and international markets.
